About Us
Due to many different circumstances, the Lord sent us from Arima into Five Rivers, Arouca and there He kept a firm hand upon the lives of each individual. He began using us as a “giantbattery” sending forth men and women to different bodies carrying the Word of Life with them. They always returned to be recharged before they would go further onward.
In 1994 God sent a man of God to our shores, backed by his ministry. The S.D. James Evangelistic Association Inc. and its Chief Bishop and Apostle, Dr S.D. James , was drawn to our ministry by the Holy Ghost and we are now under the covering of an exciting ministry in the earth that is spearheading the provocation of the Jews to jealousy.
The Hour of Life Ministries (E.P.C.), Arouca, Trinidad or “the rich church”, as we are called by the community, is now part of a worldwide organism that is bringing life and hope to many throughout the world.
Mission Statement
We work to enrich the quality of human life and fulfil the need for salvation by teaching the word of God and being a source of hope to the sick, meek and broken hearted.
Not being content to be a mere preacher and ‘Christian’, a man decided that he had a lot more to give and a lot more for the people of God to know and experience.
Prophet and Pastor, Dr Samuel Huggins James, a man called by God and anointed for His service, began to climb the steps towards a higher realm.He began doing the works of an Evangelist, making full proof of his ministry.
Evangelist Huggins James was sent to Arima, Trinidad because God had a people who were hungering and thirsting after Him. Herented a building and started going there with his wife to pray nightly. Not long after, the Lord began to draw men and women to hear the dynamic Word of the Lord.
At this time the Body of Christ, which hereinafter is called ‘The Hour of Life Ministries’, was being brought together little by little as the Lord saw fit to add to the body daily such as should be saved.
